4.3 Printer Mode

If a compatible printer is available, images can be printed without using a computer by
connecting the digital still camera directly to the compatible printer.

4.3.1 Connecting the Camera to the Printer

1. Ensure that the USB mode has been set to Printer, see "Setup Mode" on page 21.
2. Connect the USB port on the camera and the USB jack on the printer using the supplied
USB cable, then turn on your camera and the printer.
The "USB" screen is displayed.

4.3.2 Printing images

Images must be printed using the DPOF feature:
1. Connect the DC E63+ to the compatible printer as
described above and ensure that the camera is in
Playback mode.
2. Select an image to print and press the MENU button to
display the Playback menu.
3. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to highlight the DPOF
option and press the SET button to select it.
