Chameleon Bezel
For raising the added value of our optical drives and for taking the lead
in the field, we produced the "Chameleon Bezel", which allows
customers to change between different-colored panels in order to
satisfy personal requirements. Individualized appearance and color of
"Chameleon Bezel": fits different computer profiles; choose between
black, silver, and many other colors;
Double Layer
The double layer DVD+R media uses two thin embedded organic dye
films for data storage separated by a spacer layer. Heating with a
focused laser beam irreversibly modifies the physical and chemical
structure of each layer such that the modified areas have different
optical properties to those of their unmodified surroundings. This
causes a variation in reflectivity as the disc rotates to provide a read-out
signal as with commercially pressed read-only discs.
Universal Bezel
No More Earphone Jack and Volume Knob
Taking the lead in the field, we initiated "Universal Bezel" that unifies
the panels of all desktop optical drives into a uniform style, which not
only fit customer styles but can also remarkably reduce noise, thus
systematic assembly and product planning for customers becomes
even more flexible.
The decision brought with it many advantages. Besides unique
appearance and better noise reduction, fewer parts are in line with the
environment protection concept.
