The type approval
In conformance with current EC guidelines, any person may operate this unit. This unit con-
forms to the current valid European or harmonised national standards. This designation is
your guarantee that the unit conforms to the applicable specifications regarding electromag-
netic compatibility. This means that interference with other electrical/electronic devices
caused by the unit, or interference with this unit caused by other electrical/electronic devices,
is largely prevented.
The EC type-approval mark (E13) issued by Luxembourg's Road Traffic Registra-
tion Authority in accordance with European Directive ECE-R10 governing the
EMC of motor vehicles in its current version authorises installation and operation of
the unit in motor vehicles (classes L, M, N and O).
