Song Mode

Song mode allows you to piece together multiple blocks into a completed song. To create
a song press the 'Loop Play' button start the sequencer, then simply select a block
(vertical column from the grid), select a song position 1-199 and press the 'Add' button.
Repeat this process adding blocks to the song chain.
Press the 'Delete' button to erase / remove an event from the chain. To hear your
completed song stop the sequencer, select the first block in the chain and press the 'Play
Song' button to begin playback. You can begin playback at any point in the chain by
selecting a block before pressing the 'Play Song' button.
As well as adding individual blocks to the song chain, you can also mix and match layers
from different blocks. To do this toggle the selection mode from 'All Layers' to 'Single
Layer' and you will now be able to individually select tracks from differing blocks.
You can also add transposed blocks to the chain using the 'Transpose' popup list. You can
quickly erase the contents of a song chain using the 'Erase Song Chain' option from the
'Edit->Erase' menu.
Please Note: If the sequencer is running, block changes will only take effect once the
current block has completed playing!
If you attempt to 'Add' a block to the chain, and the selected block is in use, you will be
asked if you wish to Overwrite or Insert into the chain.
If you 'Delete' a block that contains data, it will be cleared. Deleting an empty block will
cause the block to be removed and the remaining blocks to the right will move down one
position.
