AUTOMATIC SQUELCH FEATURE

The GPS205 is equipped with an Automatic Squelch System which shuts off weak
transmissions and unwanted noise.

MONITOR

This feature enables users to listen for weak signals on the current channel at the press
of a button.
To turn Monitor Mode ON or OFF.
1. Press MONI momentarily.
'BUSY' will flash on the display when MONITOR Mode is ON.

KEY BEEPS ON/OFF

Your radio emits a beep each time one of the keys (except for
the PTT button) is pressed.
To turn ON or OFF:
1. Press .

2. Scroll to KEYBEEP and press
3. Press or to select ON or OFF.
4. Press to confirm.
