    3 INSTALLATION • After removing the packaging, make sure the product is complete and undamaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact a qualified professional. • Packing elements (plastic bags, polystyrene etc) must not be left within reach of children as they may rep- resent a hazard.

    15 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before performing any cleaning operations, leave the appliance to cool down and unplug from the outlet. Never immerse the coffee maker in water. It is an electrical appliance. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products to clean the appliance. A soft damp cloth will suffice. The infuser, grounds container, water tank and drip tray must NEVER be washed in the dishwasher.
