3) Listening to a Hymn

If you have selected a hymn you are familiar with, you may want to play by yourself right away. However you may
also want to listen to the hymn without playing it.
Step 1
After selecting a hymn to play back, press the PLAY/STOP button.
Hymn No.
Hold down the button.
The CA61 piano will start playing back the selected hymn.
You can adjust the speed or tempo of the hymn by using the VALUE buttons while holding down the TEMPO button.
While you are listening, you can select a different hymn by using the VALUE buttons.
You probably noticed that the circles in the LCD display turn into smaller plus signs as the hymn is played back.
This is called the Note Navigator. These circles and plus signs provide a visual guide that shows you when to
press the next key when you are performing the hymn yourself. The space between the circles and position of the
circles in the LCD shows you the approximate timing between each key press.
The circles turn into small plus signs as the hymn is playing.
If you want to listen to a different hymn, press the key to which your desired hymn is assigned while holding down the
CONCERT MAGIC button. To listen, press the PLAY/STOP button.
Step 2
When you are fi nished listening to the hymn, press the PLAY/STOP button again to stop.
