VDSL Template application notes
On VES-1616PE-54, you can specify a primary and a fallback VDSL template for each
subscriber port. A subscriber port uses the parameters defined in the primary VDSL
template when the line is initialized. When the actual line condition is too poor to
use the primary template (for example, the defined minimum transmission rate
cannot be reached), the VES then uses the fallback template instead. We can select a
looser fallback template for a line, acting as a backup profile.
Scenario
The primary VDSL profile should consist of:
1. Band plan 17a
2. Maximum Upstream/Downstream rate
3. PhyR auto
