Chapter 4 Station Mode

4.4.1 Security Settings

When you configure the NWD-270N to connect to a network with wireless security activated
and the security settings are disabled on the NWD-270N, the screen varies according to the
encryption method used by the selected network.
4.4.1.1 Security Type Selection
When you choose to connect to a network that has security, you are presented with is a security
selection screen. Choose the security of the network you are attempting to join.

4.4.1.2 WEP Encryption
Configure WEP security in this screen.

DESCRIPTION
Select the security type that matches the security setting of the network you're
trying to join.
The options are: WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and 802.1x.
Click Back to go to the Site Survey screen to select and connect to another
network.
Click Next to confirm your selections and advance to the Security Settings
screen that corresponds to the one you select here.
Click Exit to return to the Site Survey screen without saving.
