DVD player setting
Symptom
No sounds come from the DVD player
only.
Cause
Their size settings is at OFF.
Listening position is not set
correctly.
Their size settings is at OFF.
The subwoofer is set to OFF.
The subwoofer is set to OFF
and yet other speakers are set
to OFF or SMALL in size.
The center speaker setting is at
SMALL or LARGE whereas
no center speaker is installed.
Dolby Pro Logic is switched on.
The currently reproduced
sound is not Dolby Digital
coded.
Cause
The optical cable has become
detached.
The DVD player is not properly
set for output.
Remedy
Make the correct size settings. (See page
10.)
Set listening position correctly. (See
page 7.)

Set the subwoofer to ON. (See page 10.)
Make the correct settings. (If no sub-
woofer is installed, the front or rear

Remedy
