The belt may keep coming off the drive shaft on a Bissell 9595 after replacement and brush cleaning due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. The belt is not properly aligned on the motor pulley and brush roll. 2. The belt is stretched or not the correct size or type for the model. 3. The brush roll is not seated correctly in its slots. 4. There is still debris or resistance in the brush area causing uneven movement. 5. The belt was not centered by rotating the brush roll after installation.
Ensure the correct belt is used, both ends of the brush roll are properly placed in their slots, and the belt is centered by rotating the brush roll manually.
