No picture.
The audio skips.
"Rear display" picture disap-
pears.
The image on the "Rear Display"
is in black and white, or not dis-
played correctly.
Nothing is displayed and the
touch panel keys cannot be
used.
Touch panel key is not respond
or a different key is responding.
CD recording is not possible.
CD recording doesn't stop
though the record progress indi-
cator shows 100 %.

The handbrake lead is not con-
nected or applied.
Handbrake interlock is activated.
[AV Input] setting is incorrect.
The navigation system is not firmly
secured.

The setting for [REAR SCREEN] is in-
correct.
There was a problem with the "Rear
display" or a faulty wiring connec-
tion, for example.
When the gearstick is in [R], the
rear view camera images are dis-
played. (When [MIRROR] is selected
in [REAR SCREEN] menu.)
[DVD-V Setup] is carried out.
The Rear Display output from the
navigation system is switched be-
tween the NTSC, PAL and SECAM
system according to image. For
some images, the image format
may not match that of the "Rear Dis-
play".
The setting for the rear view camera
is incorrect.
The gearstick was placed in [R]
when the rear view camera was not
connected.
The back light of the LCD panel is
turned off.
Touch panel keys deviate from the
actual positions that respond to
your touch for some reason.
A disc that cannot be recorded,
such as MP3 disc or DVD-video, is
inserted.
Music Library recording will be can-
celled after playback of the current
track is finished. (The recording
mode stops at the interval of the
tracks.)
Connect a handbrake lead correctly, and
apply the handbrake.
Park your vehicle in a safe place and apply
the handbrake. (Page 19)

Check the "Rear display" and its connection.
Select [DVD] or [AV] in [REAR SCREEN]
menu. When you move the gearstick to a po-
sition other than [R], the screen will be re-
turned to the previous display.
You can not display the video image to "Rear
display" during [DVD-V Setup] menu.
! Use a product (e.g. AVD-W7900) that has
an NTSC/PAL/SECAM auto switch function
for the "Rear Display" as well.
! Manually switch between NTSC, PAL and
SECAM for "Rear Display".
Connect a rear view camera correctly.
Press AV button to return to the source dis-
play and then select the correct polarity set-
ting for [Camera Input]. (Page 133)
Press V button to turn on the back light.
Perform the touch panel calibration. (Page
171)
A disc other than a normal music CD cannot
be recorded.
Wait until the current track has ended or
change the source manually.
