Oven Heating Elements

Do not clean the bake element or the broil
element. Any soil will burn off when the
elements are heated.
To clean the oven floor, gentlylift
the bake element Clean with warm
soapywater

Oven Racks

All oven racksmaybe cleaned byhand with an
abrasive cleaner or steel wool After cleaning,
rinse the racks with lean water and drywith a
clean cloth Grayporcelain-coated oven racks
mayremain in the oven during the self-cleaning
cyclewithout being damaged The shiny,
silvercolored oven racksmayremain in the
oven during the self-cleaning cycle, but they
will lose their luster and become hard to slide.
Oven Light Replacement
CAUTION:
replacing your oven light bulb, turn the oven
light off and disconnect the electrical power
to the range at the main fuse or circuit
breaker panel.
Be sure to let the light cover and bulb cool
completely.
To remove the cover:
Hold a hand under the cover so it
doesn't fall when released. With fingers
of the same hand, firmly push back
the wire cover holder. Lift off the cover.
Do not remove any screws to remove
the cover.
Replace bulb with a 40-watt household
appliance bulb.
Storage Drawer Removal
To remove the storage drawer:
Pull the drawer out all the way.
Tilt up the front and remove it.
On some models, the bake element is not
exposed and is under the oven floor. If spillover
residue or ash accumulate on the
oven floor,
wipe up before self-cleaning.
It will be necessaryto grease all oven
rack side edges with a light coating of
vegetable oil after cleaning them byhand or
in the oven This will helpmaintain the ease o
sliding the racks in and out of the oven
(on some models)
To replace the cover:
Before
Place it into groove of the lig ht
receptacle. Pull wire forward to
the center of the cover until it snaps
into place.
Connect electrical power to the range.
(on some models)
To replace the storage drawer:
Insert glides at the back o f the drawer
beyond the stop on range glid
Lift the drawer if necessary to
easily.
Let the front of the drawer down; then
push in to close.
