The -DSS-Technology was developed by AXLE nVidia and at the moment it is available
with their graphic cards of 8 series.

-DSS increases or decreases the GPU clock of the graphic card if it is necessary
automatically, until the optimized core clock for the appropriate 3-D application is reached.
This overclocking takes place dynamically and controlled, it depends on the requirements
of the appropriate application and the temperature of the graphic chipset. The clock
frequency of the graphic chip increases only as long as the temperature of the GPU is in
the permissible range.
