WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit
between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting
the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for
damage.

My heater has the power light on. Will turn on but shuts itself off right away Did it 3 times this morning it is cold in this room so I **** sure it is not 68 which I set it at. Really like the heater would like to know how to fix it. Only used rarely. So when super cold in office.

The Intertek Heat Pure 1500 heater may turn on but shut off immediately if its internal components reach a temperature that could cause overheating and a potential fire. The heater has an automatic safety feature that shuts it off in such conditions to prevent hazards.

@Amy Bowe I had the same problem but figured out that my **** wasn’t turning on. I removed the back and cleaned everything out. The thin filter doesn’t really do a great job and I found a lot of buildup on the ****. I didn’t actually use any cleaner, just compressed air, lightly scraping and a vacuum seemed to do the trick. Mine works great now. PS make sure to unplug the heater before doing this!!!

The Intertek Heat Pure 1500 remote may not be working with new batteries due to the electro lock feature being activated. If the control panel and remote control are unresponsive, the electro lock may be engaged. To release the lock, press the Temp Up and Temp Down buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until a buzzer rings and the lock indication disappears. If the issue persists, ensure the batteries are correctly installed and functional.
