Exhaust Gas Recirculation Components
Clean EGR valve and manifold nipple every 15,000 miles.
Replace EGR valve every 30,000 miles.
To remind the driver about the EGR service, there is a special EGR service reminder light (see
which comes on at 15,000 miles intervals.
This is a reminder to have the EGR valve serviced. The light will stay on until reset.
