The Data Structure Checksum is the 2's compliment of the result of simple 8-but addition of the first 511 bytes in
the data structure.
13.39.5 S.M.A.R.T. error log sector
The following defines the 512 bytes that make up the S.M.A.R.T. error log sector. All multibyte fields shown in
these data structures follow the ATA/ATAPI-6 specifications for byte ordering.
