INTRODUCTION

The ADTRAN Total Access
Solution) is an individual system designed to provide cost-effective and remotely managed
HDSL, HDSL2, HDSL4, and T1 transport for the delivery of high capacity services.
The Hi-Cap RT Solution with two Total Access 3000s deploys up to 56 HDSL, HDSL2, HDSL4,
or T1 circuits. The Hi-Cap RT Solution cabinet is for above ground use and is intended for
deployment in areas that serve medium to large concentrations of business customers. The
major components of the Hi-Cap RT Solution include the following:
• Emerson MESA Bridge Cabinet
– AC Load Center
– 120 VAC GFI Convenience Outlet
– Intrusion Alert Switches
– Environmental Control Card (ECC)
– Heat Exchanger
• Valere Power System/Rectifier (PS/R) with Controller Module
• Alarm Cross-Connect Shelf
• Cross-Connect Panel (200-pair Field Side and 200-pair Equipment Side)
• DS3 Protection Chassis with two modules
