Connecting to a hifi system with digital audio input

If you own a hifi system with digital audio input, then the best possible stereo
sound quality will be attained via this connection.

Connecting to a digital multi-channel audio/video
receiver
The digital multi-channel sound on the DVD can be optimally decoded and
reproduced when connecting the DVD player to a multi-channel audio/video
receiver (MPEG 2 multi-channel decoder or Dolby* digital decoder).

Connect a commercially available phono cable with the
sockets on the DVD player and the corresponding sockets on the hifi system.
Attention!
Do not connect the
»R AUDIO L
input sockets (record player input) of the hifi system.
Note:
The
»R AUDIO
L« sockets can also be used for the connection of a Pro
Logic audio/video receiver.
Connect a commercially available phono cable with the
OUT
socket on the DVD player and the corresponding socket on the hifi
system.
