Temporary tone dialing
If you have pulse (rotary) service only, you can switch from pulse to touch-tone
dialing temporarily during a call.

During a call, press

Use the dialing keys to enter the relevant number. The telephone sends
touch-tone signals.

The telephone automatically returns to pulse dialing mode after you end the call.
Find handset
Use this feature to find the system handset.
To start paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET at the bottom of the
telephone base. The handset rings and displays
** Paging **.
To end paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET at the bottom of the
telephone base.

Place the handset in the telephone base.
Redial list
The handset stores the last 0 telephone numbers dialed. When there are already
0 entries, the oldest entry is deleted to make room for the new entry.
To review and dial a number from the redial list on the handset:
Press REDIAL when the handset is not in use.

To delete a redial entry on the handset:
When the desired redial entry displays, press DELETE.
Chain dialing
Use this feature to initiate a dialing sequence from numbers stored in the directory,
caller ID log or redial list while you are on a call. Chain dialing can be useful if you
wish to access other numbers (such as bank account numbers or access codes)
from the directory, caller ID log or redial list. You can only use the handset to
access a number in the directory, caller ID log or redial list while on a call.
To access a number in the directory, caller ID log or redial list while on a call
with the handset:
To enter the directory, press MENU twice.

To enter the caller ID log, press MENU then scroll to Caller ID log then
press SELECT.

To enter the redial list, press REDIAL.

Press SELECT to dial the displayed number.

Join a call in progress
You can use both the handset and the telephone base at a time on an outside call.
When the handset is on a call, press

Press OFF or place the handset in the telephone base to exit the call. The call
continues until the telephone base hangs up.

Transfer a call
While on an outside call, you can transfer the call from one system device
to another.
To transfer a call from the handset to the telephone base:
During a call, press MENU.
