    Get started Insert the SIM card Switch the phone off. Press the back cover with your fingers, slide the cover open, and lift the cover off. Remove the battery, if inserted. Use your fingernail to lift the SIM card holder cover. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing down, and place the SIM card in the SIM card holder.
