The camera can be used with third-party Eye-Fi cards; for more information see the manual
provided with the card or contact the manufacturer.

Q Observe local regulations regarding the use of wireless devices when using Eye-Fi cards. Se-
lect OFF in aircraft, hospitals, and other locations where the use of wireless devices is prohib-
ited; note that even when the camera is turned off , wireless transmission will continue until
upload is complete.

FORMAT
If a memory card is inserted in the camera, this option will format the memory card. If no mem-
ory card is inserted, this option will format internal memory.
Q All data—including protected pictures—will be deleted from the memory card or internal
memory. Be sure important fi les have been copied to a computer or other storage device.
Q Do not open the battery-chamber cover during formatting.
