Activity 3: Number Quest
1. Slide the Mode Selector to Number Quest. Dora will move her
hands during the opening sentence.
2. You will be asked to find a number, either on its own or as part of a
sequence. For example, you will be asked "Which number comes next?
2, 3..." The LEDs will flash in a pattern and Dora will move her hands
at normal speed when giving the question.
3. If you press the correct number, for example, 4, you will hear a
rewarding sound and rewarding phrase "Great" or "¡Fantástico!".
The corresponding button will light up and Dora will move her hands
quickly.
4. If you press the wrong number, the unit will identify the number and
ask you to try again. The LEDs will light up in a pattern and Dora will
move her hands slowly.
5. If you answer incorrectly after three consecutive times, the unit will ask
you a new question.
Activity 4: Call My Friends
1. Slide the Mode Selector to Call My Friends. Dora will move her
hands during the opening sentence.
2. You will be asked to follow the number sequence to call Dora's
friends. For example, you will hear "Press 5-1-9 to call Benny." The
corresponding number buttons will light up as they are spoken.
3. If you press the correct numbers, for example, 5-1-9, you will hear a
rewarding sound and rewarding phrase "Great" or "¡Fantástico!". The
corresponding number buttons will light up and Dora will move her
hands quickly.
