You can use Connection Center to quickly and easily turn your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on or off. Connection Center is

2. Do any one or combination of the following steps:
• Slide the WLAN button
• Slide the Bluetooth button
• Slide the Flight Mode button
When it has been turned on, all wireless are power off.
3. Tap Exit or OK when finished.
NOTE After opening Connection Center, you can tap Menu to access Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Settings.

6.2 Wi-Fi Data Connections

Wi-Fi wirelessly connects the device to the Internet through access points (also known as "hotspots") that can be up
to 30 meters away. When the device encounters a hotspot, it can then connect to the network wirelessly. While some
hotspots are free, most public Wi-Fi networks are provided by private internet service providers (ISPs) or wireless
carriers, and using these networks will typically require payment of a connection fee.
Turning Wi-Fi on or off
1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections > WLAN.
2. Tap Search for Networks. The device will detect available Wi-Fi networks. You can then tap the desired one.
3. Select the network you want to connect to.
4. In the Connects to list, select Internet or Work. If you select a secure network, you may need to enter network
key provided by the network administrator.
5. If the network is hidden, select This is a hidden network. If you want to connect to another device instead of a
network through an access point, select This is a device-to-device (ad-hoc) connection. Tap Next.
6. Select your Network Authentication settings, then tap Next. (The default choices are often appropriate.)
7. Tap Finish.
