A regular inspection
and maintenance
of your machine will help to prevent faults.
This saves time and prevents problems.
Overall
condition
of the machine
Check spray arm for grease and limescale deposits.
If you End such deposits:
Fill detergent
dispenser with detergent.
Start the appliance
without
utensils in the cycle with the highest rinsing
temperature
(see page 13 for cycle temperatures).
Clean the appliance with detergents/appliance
cleaners which are particularly
suitable for use with dishwashers.
Regularly clean door seal with a damp cloth.
Never use a steam cleaner to clean your dishwasher.The
manufacturer
is not liable
for any consequential
damage.
Regularly wipe the front of the appliance with a damp cloth; water and a little liquid
soap are adequate.
Do not use sponges with a rough surface or abrasive deter-
gents, as these could scratch the surfaces.
Stainless
steel appliances:
To prevent corrosion, avoid using sponge cloths.
Filters
The Elter system consists of a coarse Elter, a fiat Ene Elter and a microEIter.
The Elters keep large foreign objects in the rinsing water away from the pump.
Foreign objects may occasionally block the Elters.
Check the Elters for residue by:
Unscrew Elter cylinder as illustrated at top right and take out Elter system.
Remove any residue and clean Elters under running water.
Reinstall Elter system in reverse sequence and ensure that the arrow marks are
opposite each other after closing the Elter system.
Spray arms
Limescale and contaminants
in the rinsing water may block nozzles and bearings
on the spray arms.
Check outlet nozzles on the spray arms for blockages by:
Unscrew the upper spray arm.
Remove the lower spray arm.
