Overview

This section describes the components of your Fujitsu
LifeBook S2000 notebook. We strongly recommend that
you read it before using your notebook – even if you are
already familiar with notebook computers.

UNPACKING

When you receive your LifeBook notebook, unpack it
carefully, and compare the parts you have received with
the items listed below.
For a pre-configured model you should have:
LifeBook S2000 notebook (Figure 2-1)
AC adapter with AC power cord (Figure 2-2)
Lithium ion Battery, pre-installed
Weight Saver
Mini S-Video Cable Adapter (Figure 2-3)
Driver and Application Restore (DAR) disc
Microsoft-Associated Product Materials
Getting Started Guide
International Limited Warranty Brochure
Depending on your system configuration, you will
receive one of the following devices, pre-installed in the
Flexible Bay:
Weight Saver
Modular DVD/CD-RW combo drive
Modular Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer
Depending on your system configuration, the following
optional items may be included with your system:
Modular bay battery
External USB floppy disk drive
Port replicator
