Troubleshooting
This chapter describes troubleshooting operations against typical problems.

The power does not turn on

Check the following:

Check that the power cord of this machine is correctly
plugged into an outlet. Also check that the circuit breaker
is not tripped.

Check that the power switch is turned on.
Tips
If the power still does not turn on after checking, contact your
service representative.

A message prompting you to replace consumables has appeared

When the remaining amount of a consumable item becomes low, a message is displayed to inform you of
when to carry out a replacement.
A message prompting replacement means that consumables are nearly exhausted. You can make several
copies after the message is displayed. However, we recommend that you procure consumables before you
need to use them.
Tips
If the message remains displayed after replacement, contact your service representative.
