Using Intelligent Face Detection
when playing back pictures
You can display and enlarge the faces in images when
playing back the images shot using the Intelligent Face
Detection function ( is displayed) (➝p.29).

A Press
, then the frame(s) appears on
the detected face(s) in pictures.
B The detected face(s) is enlarged each time
you press
C Press n, o, p, or q to display another
part of the image (➝p.37).
CAUTION
The images recorded by ` cannot be enlarged.

MEMO
• Press DISP/BACK to return to normal playback.
• If an image with red-eye effect was shot using Intelligent
Face Detection, the red-eye effect, caused by the light
of the flash reflecting off the inside of the eye, can be
corrected ( p.92 ).
