• Connect the camera directly to the PC using the USB cable (mini-B). The software may not operate correctly when you use an
extension cable or connect the camera via a USB hub.
• When your PC has more than one USB port, the camera can be connected to either port.
• Push the USB connector fully into the socket to ensure that it is securely connected. The software may not operate correctly if the
connection is faulty.
• Additional USB interface board is not guaranteed.
• Windows 95, Windows NT and Windows 98 cannot be used.
• Operation is not guaranteed on home-built PCs or on PCs running updated operating system software.
• When you reinstall or remove FinePixViewer, the Internet menu and your user ID and password for the FinePix Internet Service
are deleted from your PC. Enter your registered user ID and password and download the menu again.
Z For Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP users
You cannot transfer images to your camera with "FinePixViewer S" installed on the above OS.
You need to use "FinePixViewer" to transfer images.
Install "FinePixViewer" as instructed below.
For information on the transfer function, refer to "How to use FinePixViewer" in the "Help" menu for details.
1. Load the bundled CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your PC.
2. Double-click the "My Computer" icon. (Windows XP users should click the "My Computer" in the "Start" menu.)
3. Right-click "FINEPIX" (CD-ROM drive) in the "My Computer" window and select "Open".
4. Double-click the folders or files in the following order: "VIEWER" ➝ "FVIEWER" ➝ "SETUP.EXE"
5. Double-click the folders or files in the following order: "VIEWER" ➝ "RESOURCE" ➝ "30000" ➝ "SETUP.EXE"
