Near Field Communication (NFC) is a new, short-range wireless
connectivity technology that allows mobile users to read and write NFC
tags, pair with other NFC devices, and even make fast and secure mobile
payment.
17.1

Access

Touch
from tool bar to enter the main menu, select "NFC".

Activate NFC

Go to "NFC\NFC settings", select "On".

Read a tag

With NFC activated, pass your phone over a tag and the information
contained in the tag will be read into your phone. You can follow screen
instructions to decide what to do with the read information.
NFC tags contain simple data or elaborate instructions such as a
phone number, a URL, an SMS and etc.

Write to a tag

To write to a tag, you first have to activate the contactless antenna
by going to "NFC\Tag writing" and selecting "OK". Then pass your
phone over the tag and select to write a phone number ("Tag writing\
Call"), a text message ("Tag writing\Send a text message") or a URL
("Tag writing\URL address") on the tag. You can follow on-screen
instructions to complete the writing process.

Tag history

Tag history ("NFC\Tag history") stores all the tags you have read or
written. You can share or delete the tags stored in Tag history.
