1 STANDBY/ON button
• Turns the VCR on or off.
• Sets the VCR for an unattended

Selects S-VHS ET recording mode
when pressed. The lamp (the button

3 DIGITAL TBC/NR button
Removes jitter from fluctuating video to

4 SYNCHRO EDIT button
Synchronizes the start of the playback
and recording operations when starting
an edit operation using a camcorder

• Starts recording when pressed once.
