System Requirements

Hardware

Minimum requirements are:
Motherboard with one PCIe ×16 lane graphics slot.

AMD Athlon™ or Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU.
•
1 GB RAM.
•
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive for installing software.
•
A 450 watt or better power supply with two 2×3 PCIe power connectors.
•
Certified power supplies are strongly recommended; for a list of certified

ATI CrossFireX Requirements

Minimum requirements for ATI CrossFireX configuration using the ATI Radeon
HD 4800 Series graphics card:
ATI CrossFireX-certified motherboard. For an up-to-date listing of

ATI CrossFireX certified motherboards, see

A second ATI CrossFireX graphics card compatible with the ATI Radeon HD
•
4800 Series. (In most cases, a third card may be installed, if desired.)
One ATI CrossFireX internal bridge interconnect per additional board

(included).
For two card setup, a PCIe 600 watt or higher power supply with four 2×3
•
PCIe power connectors.
For three card setup, a PCIe 750 watt or higher power supply with 6 2×3 PCIe
•
power connectors.
