(1) Log file
One message output by iSM server is saved as one record into the outputting log file. When the log file exceeds
the specified size, it is initialized after copying to a generation file.
File size: 1 to 10 (MB)
File name: "iSM_Log" + .log
(2) Generation file
A generation file is a backup file of the log file, and is created with maximum of 99 files. The generation file
shows the backed up order by the generation number in its file name, and the larger the number is, the newer the
file is. However, the file with the largest number is not necessarily the newest one because overwriting is made
from the file of the generation number 1 and subsequent files when the number of created files exceeds the
maximum. To identify the newest file correctly, refer to (3) "Generation management file".

(3) Generation management file
A generation management file is a file that shows the latest information on the generation file numbers, and saves
the information with 2-digit generation number (2 bytes). When the generation number of generation
management file is 99, the next generation number will be assigned to 01. When a generation management file
does not exist right after the installation of iSM, or a number other than 01 to 99 is accidentally specified, the
following processing should be done.
(i) Set the generation number to "01" for the next file to be processed.
(ii) After backing up the information to a generation file, re-create the generation management file
