INSTALLING BATTERIES

In the System

Cautions:
• Always use fresh batteries of the
required size and recommended
type.
• Never leave dead or weak batter-
ies in the system or remote con-
trol. Batteries can leak chemicals
that can corrode the control.
• Do not mix old and new batteries,
different types of batteries (stan-
dard, alkaline, or rechargeable),
or rechargeable batteries of differ-
ent capacities.
To retain any preset radio stations
during an AC power loss, install two
alkaline AA batteries (such as Cat.
No. 23-557) into the system's battery
compartment.
