• Use the command to source SYBASE.sh or SYBASE.csh and update
source
the component's RUN environment immediately for your current session,
before invoking any component, or
• Modify the component's RUN environment permanently using the
environment variable values from the shell files.

The subdirectory path to the Open Client and Open Server runtime shared library.
The subdirectory path to the license.dat file, which SySAM needs to run the license
manager.
The directory path to Replication Server files.
The home directory where you install all Sybase products.
