The SIGMABLADE AD106a storage blade with NEC's new Intel
blade servers can provide significantly more local storage for the
attached blade.
The SIGMABLADE AD106a is optimized to work with NEC's Intel
Xeon's 5500 series blades, which are designed for virtualization
solutions. In addition to adding storage, NEC had the foresight
to include expansion I/O slots and ports in the NEC Express5800
SIGMABLADES AD106a storage blade to directly address greater
I/O and expansion function needs for the host server blade
