1-11. CAM TUBE (B) ASSY REPLACING METHOD
Creation of Naruto Gear jig
Prepare a Naruto Gear (4-424-720-01) and a fine-tipped screwdriver (or thin stick such as bamboo skewer).
Insert a fine-tipped screwdriver (or thin stick such as bamboo skewer) into the Naruto Gear hole and fix the
Naruto Gear and the screwdriver with bond or equivalent.

Peel off the Adhesive Tape.

Note: Removed Adhesive Tape must not be reused. Use new Adhesive Tape.
Disconnect the Flexible Board from the Connector.

Remove solder at four locations to detach the three Bosses and the Convex on the Flexible Board.

Remove the six screws and remove the Rear Mirror Plate Assy and the Zoom Motor Gear Block.

Pull out the Naruto Gear.

Fix with bond or
equivalent.

Turn the Naruto Gear jig clockwise to set the Main body at TELE end.

Note: Turn the Naruto Gear jig to the maximum.
Disengage the four Convexes on the Flexible Boards from the four Claws and pull the Flexible Boards out of the holes.

Turn the Naruto Gear jig counterclockwise to set the Main body to the retracted state.

Note: Turn the Naruto Gear jig to the maximum.
Further turn the Gear clockwise (approx. 5 degrees) and remove the Stationary Tube from the Main body.
