The AP60/61 Mounting Kit Installation Notes The AP60-MNT can be used to attach an AP60 or AP61 Access Point (AP) to a shelf, wall, post, ceiling, or partition hanger. The included mounting cradle holds the AP firmly in place when installed, and also allows for quick release when maintenance is required.

AP60-MNT: Installation Notes Suspended Ceiling Mount The mounting kit can be used to hang the AP from an indoor suspended ceiling. 1. AP60-MNT: Installation Notes Vertical Post Mount Strap Slots 5 Mounting the Cradle to a Vertical Post IGURE To mount the AP to a vertical post, thread two metal or plastic mounting straps (not included) around the post and through the large slots on the cradle. The straps should be flat and no wider than 1.5 cm (5/8 inches).

6. Orient the antennas. For best performance, orient the antennas vertically. 7. Resume standard installation. Once mounting is complete, connect the required cables and complete the installation as described in the AP60/61 Wireless Access Point Installation Guide.
