4935A TRANSMISSION

IMPULSE NOISE - TRANSMITTER

Press MEAS key to select IMPULSE NOISE.

Press DISPLAY TRMT-RCV key to display the transmitted signal. TRMT light will be on.

Press FILTER key to select the same filter as the receiver will use. Although the

transmitted signal is not affected by the filter, selecting either the 15 kHz

PROGRAM or 50 kBit filter will quiet terminate the transmitter instead of sending a hold

'l'urn OIJTPIJT LEVEL knob to adjust the level to data level (usually 13 dH below

transmission level point).
