• Receiving a business card
Make sure that your phone ready
to receive data through its IR
port, see
"Infrared (Menu 9)"
page 39. The user of the other
phone can now send the name
and phone number via Infrared.
When you have received a
business card via IR or as an OTA
message, press Show. Press
Options
and select
the business card in the phone's
memory, or
Discard
received business card.
• Sending a business card
Using your phone's infrared (IR)
port, you can send a person's
contact info as a business card to
a compatible phone or other
handheld device which supports
the vCard standard.
1. Search for the name and
phone number you want to
send from the phone book,

Assigning a number to a speed
dialling key
Press
Names
and select
Scroll to the speed dialling key
number you want, and press Assign.
If a number is already assigned to
the key, press Options, and you can
view
(View
number), change
(Change) or erase (Erase) the
assigned number.
Press Search, and select first the
name and then the number you want
to assign.

■ Voice dialling

You can make a phone call by saying
a voice tag that has been added to a
phone number. Any spoken word(s),
such as a person's name(s), can be a
voice tag.
Before using voice dialling, note
that:
• Voice tags are not language
dependent. They are dependent
on the speaker's voice.
• Voice tags are sensitive to
background noise. Record them
and make calls in a quiet
environment.
