Security settings

Note: When security
features that restrict calls
are in use (call barring,
closed user group and fixed
dialling), calls may be
possible to certain
emergency numbers in
some networks (e.g. 112 or
other official emergency
numbers).
Press Menu, select
Security
settings. Select
PIN code request
phone to ask for your PIN code
every time the phone is switched
on. Some SIM cards do not allow
the PIN code request to be turned
off.
Call barring service

Change of access codes
can change security code, PIN
code, PIN2 code or barring
password. Codes can only include
numbers from 0 to 9.
Note that you should avoid using
access codes similar to the
emergency numbers, such as 112,
to prevent accidental dialling of
the emergency number.

Restore factory settings

To reset some of the menu settings
to their original values, press Menu,
select
Settings
and
settings. Key in the security code
and press OK. For example, the
names and phone numbers saved in
the phone book are not deleted.
