3. Call functions

■ Making a call

1. Key in the phone number,
including the area code. To edit
the number on the display, press
or to move the cursor
and Clear to delete the character
to the left of the cursor.
For international calls, press
twice for the international
prefix (the + character replaces
the international access code)
and then key in the country code,
area code and the phone number.
2. Press to call the number.
3. Press or End call
call or to cancel the call attempt.
When you are using the phone with
the Plug-in Handsfree Car Kit, PPH-
1, switch from handsfree mode to
privacy mode by disconnecting the
PPH-1 from the phone. To switch
back to handsfree, plug the PPH-1
into the phone.
Making a call using the phone book

Last number redialling

In standby mode, press
access the list of the 20 numbers you
last called or attempted to call.
Scroll to the number or name you
want, and press
number.

Calling your voice mailbox

In standby mode, press and hold
, or press
If the phone asks for the voice
mailbox number, key it in and press

Speed dialling a phone
number
Assign a phone number to one of the
speed dialling keys, from
, and you can call that number
in either of the following ways:
• Press the speed dialling key you
want and then press
• If Speed dialling
press and hold a speed dialling
key until the call is started. See
