Drying air
The drying air in the drum circulates in
a closed system and is condensed in
the condenser unit. The condensed
water is then collected or can be
pumped away.
Fluff builds up on garments when they
are being worn and washed. This fluff is
collected by the fluff filters in the door
and the door opening.
Hygiene filter for room air used for
cooling the condenser unit
The hygiene filter filters the air from the
room which the dryer takes in to cool
the condenser unit. The filtered room
air which has been warmed by the
condenser unit is then expelled from
the back of the dryer.
The hygiene filter must be replaced
with a new one when the Change filter
indicator light comes on.
The machine must not be used
without the hygiene filter in place.
Without the hygiene filter in place, the
dryer will take in more room air which
will in turn cool the condenser unit more
and cause a lower drying temperature.
A reduction in the drying temperature
will mean that micro-organisms are not
deactivated. The noise level during
drying will also increase.
Please note that the programme
durations will be longer if the hygiene
filter is not replaced when the indicator
light comes on.
