The system lock is acti-
vated.
The fluff filter in the door is
blocked.
The vent ducting or the
ventilation outlet (e.g. win-
dow or wall vent) is
blocked.
Ventilation to and from the
dryer is insufficient (e.g. in
a small room)
The vent ducting is very
long.
If you wish to use the dryer,
the system lock must be de-
activated (see "Electronic sys-
tem lock").
Clean the fluff filter (see
"Cleaning and care").
Check all parts of the extrac-
tion system on a regular basis
(e.g. wall vent, external grille,
bends in the ducting etc.) and
make sure they are free of any
hindrance. Remove any fluff.
Open a door or window while
drying for increased air flow.
The check lamp will go out
when the door is opened.

If very long ducting is used
then programme times will be
longer and energy consump-
tion higher.
