This appliance is supplied with a

food probe,

The food probe is used to accurately
monitor the temperature of the food
during cooking.
The tip of the food probe, which is
inserted into the food, measures the
core temperature of the food.
When the pre-selected core
temperature is reached, the oven
heating is switched off automatically.
In addition to the automatic
programmes the food probe
also be used with the following
functions:
ß Auto roast
ß Fan plus
ß Conventional heat
ß Microwave
ß MW+Auto roast
ß MW+Fan plus
ß Fan grill

To use the food probe

^ Insert the food probe right into the
middle of the food.
^ Insert the plug of the food probe into
the socket until you feel it engage.

^ Close the door.
^ Select the function you want.
^ Alter the recommended temperature /
microwave power level if necessary.
^ Alter the recommended core
temperature if necessary.
The core temperature required
depends on the type of food being
cooked. For the correct core
temperature, refer to the chart in the
"User instructions" booklet supplied.
The core temperature is pre-
programmed into the automatic
programmes.
You can also delay the start of the
cooking programme to a later time.
Select the "Start time" option or if using
an Automatic programme, the "Start
later" option.
Once the programme has started, the
core temperature rise can be followed
in the display.
