Regulating the suction

^ Switch the machine on.
Use the p and m on the hand-piece
to regulate the suction to suit the type
of flooring. The power setting selected
is shown on the handle.
Setting 9 = no suction
Low setting = weak suction
High setting = strong suction
The symbols on the controls of your
vacuum cleaner indicate the type of
use the settings are suitable for.
a - curtains, lightweight fabrics
b - upholstery, cushions
c - thick pile carpets, rugs and
runners
d - for energy-saving daily use
e - lightly soiled textured carpets
f - textured hard flooring, and for
intensive cleaning of carpets
Switching the Electrobrush on
and off
The Electrobrush is switched on
separately from the vacuum cleaner by
pressing the j on the handpiece. This
means that you can switch the
Electrobrush off during vacuuming and
the vacuum cleaner will continue to
operate using suction only. This is
useful when moving from vacuuming a
fitted carpet to a rug, for example.
Selecting setting 9 also switches the
Electrobrush off. To continue
vacuuming again select a suitable
setting.
