Step 10. Remove the 2 screws that secure the card reader module to the bracket, and the pull the card
reader module upward to remove it.
Step 11. Install the new front card reader module:
a.
Line up the new front card reader module with the card port, and then insert the new card
reader module into position.
b.
Secure the new card reader module with the two screws.
c.
Connect the data cables to the new card reader module.
d.
Reattach the card reader top cover.
e.
Line up the card reader tray with the guide, then push it into position, then lock it.
Step 12. Reattach the computer cover.

Replacing the motherboard

Note: For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer flat.
To replace the motherboard:
Step 1.
Remove any media (disks, CDs, DVDs, or memory cards) from the drives, shut down the operating
system, and turn off the computer and all attached devices.
Step 2.
Unplug all power cords from electrical outlets.
Step 3.
Disconnect all cables attached to the computer. This includes power cords, input/output (I/O)
cables, and any other cables that are connected to the computer. Refer to "Left and right view"
and "Rear view" for help with locating the various connectors.
