Setting Text Entry Options

To set your text entry options:
1.
Select
2.
Select your desired option and press
Auto-Capital to turn auto-capitalisation on or off.
My Words to set your original words (see page 24).
Default Input to set the input mode menu items from
T9 Word, Alphabet or Retain Mode (see page 25). Set
Retain Mode to retain the previous entry mode.
Auto-Space to turn auto-spacing on or off after T9 words
you enter.
Recent Access to display the three most recently used input
mode menu items.
T9 Settings to customise the T9 settings (see page 25).
Add Word to store words that you use frequently (see
page 24).

Setting Abbreviated Dialing

To activate the Ph. Book Match feature:
1.
Select

Select Ph. Book Match.
3.
Select Enable.
To activate the Prepend feature:
1.
Select
2.
Select Prepend.
3.
Select Enable.
4.
Select Prepend#.
5.
Enter a five- or six-digit number and press
To deactivate this feature, select Disable during step 3
above.
Note:
To use the above features, see "Using Abbreviated Dialing"on page 21.
Note:
This setting does not apply to 111 or Directory Assistance.
2. Your Phone's Settings
> Settings > Others > Text Entry.
> Settings > Others > Abbrev. Dial.
