To turn, release the pressure on the motion control
lever towed the direction you want to turn,
To stop, push the motion control levers to neutral,
Stopping the Nachine
To stop the madzine, move the motion control levers to
neutral and outward to the park position, disengage the
blade control switch, ensure the throttle is in the fast
position, and mrn the ignition key to off Remember to
remove the key from the ignition switd_
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the mower while it
is unattended°
Always remove the ignition key and move the
motion control levers outward to the park
position when leaving the machine unattended,
even if just for a few minutes.
Adjusting the Height of Cut
1.. Raise the height-of-cut lever to the transport
position, cutting height position 4_5 (,also the
4-I/2 inch [1t 5 man]) (Figure 18),
Positioning the Seat
The seat can move forward and back-ward Position the
seat where you have the best control of the machine
and are most comfortable.
I. Raise the seat and loosen the adjusnnent lmob }ust
enough that seat can move (Figure 19)..

The motion control levers can be adjusted higher or
lower for ma_-drnum operator comfort,.
1, Remove the 2 bolts holding the control lever to the
control arm shaft (Figure 20).
2, Move the control lever to the next set of holes°
Secure the lever with the 2 bolts (Figure 20),
