Removetheeye boltand handle knobfromthe manualbag.
2.
Placetheeye boltand handleknobon the upper handleas shown
in Figure6. Donot fully tightenthe hardwareuntil instructedto do

Alwayskeephandsand feet clearof equipmentmovingparts. Donot
use a pressurizedstartingfluid. Vaporsare flammable.
1_ Remove the gascap,checkthefuelleveland add fuelif necessary.

Slowlypull the recoilstarterhandleup towardsthe eye bolt.

Slip the recoilstarterrope intothe eyebolt fromthe back sideof
the snowthrower.See Figure6.

Securelytightenthe eye boltand handleknob.
